Small sauna area to feel good

Even in the Stone Age, people utilised the relaxing and cleansing effect of sweat baths. To do this, stones heated in a fire were placed in a cave and doused with water. Heat is simply good for you: it improves blood circulation, relieves muscle tension and strengthens the immune system. A sauna session promotes health and well-being. And if sweating is also fun - all the better! Our sauna area in the "Wohlfühloase" is textile-free and therefore physically separate from the swimming pool area.

      Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna is probably the best-known type of sauna. It is typically characterised by high temperatures of between 85 and 88°C with a relatively low humidity of 10 to 30%. After the sauna session of 8 to 15 minutes, the body is cooled in the open air or under cold water. You can then relax in the relaxation area. The sauna session in the Finnish sauna can be repeated up to three times. A visit to the Finnish sauna also has a positive effect on the skin: the skin is better supplied with blood during the sauna, the pores open up in the heat and contract again in the cold bath. The airways are also better supplied with blood.

      Bio sauna

A bio sauna is a low-temperature sauna and is considered to be skin-caring and health-promoting. In contrast to the Finnish sauna, it only reaches up to around 70°C and has a humidity of up to 45%.

      Steam bath

The steam bath is characterised by moist heat with 100% humidity and a pleasant temperature of approx. 45-50°C. These conditions are ideal for physical regeneration, e.g. after sporting activities. A visit to the steam bath can have a very positive effect on tense nerves, cramped muscles, rheumatic diseases and much more. Some people find a visit to the steam bath far more pleasant than a Finnish sauna.

      Infrared cabin

Our infrared cabin offers a heat application for well-being and health. The Physiotherm principle ensures a particularly gentle, efficient and safe application of heat. The infrared radiation transfers heat to the skin without contact. This heat is continuously transported to the inside of the body via the blood circulation. Warming from the inside out. Healthy and circulation-friendly sweating is possible from just 30°C.

When used regularly, infrared can strengthen the immune system, increase blood circulation, improve metabolism, promote purification and detoxification of the body, relieve tension and alleviate back pain. A session in the Physiotherm infrared cabin has the same effect as light cardiovascular endurance training.
